There was a congregation of prominent personalities in Vicenza who made great our city in Italy and in the entire world. 

Olympic Academy, infact, was a society  of mixed social classes founded in 1555 for cultural and scientific purposes and to which Palladio himself belonged. This was deeply related to literature, maths, weapons, equitation and art in the most extended meaning. This was also a very unique class of society, because for the first time not only aristocratic people could take part. Over the years the Academy was a supporter of the innovation and progress of italian ancient beauty and nowadays still remains one the most important milestone in our cultural range.
